We started in the Red Cow market this weekend and while it was not all too busy it was nice to get the first weekend over and out of the way so to speak. The day before Friday was hectic as we literally had to go in and set the whole thing up and as we had no overall plan set out it was a bit hit n miss but when finished I was happy enough given that we only had one day to prepare. 

I have committed to an initial four week period and depending on how things go we will decide if it is worth the time and effort not to mention the expense. Basically the main reason for taking a stand there is to promote our photography business and to make ourselves known to a wider audience and expand our client base. Given that our shop and studio is based in Granard we are aware that we have limited scope for expansion and the footfall is never going to increase over and above what it is at present.

We are not and will not be relying on sales from our stall in the Red Cow Market although it would to nice to have a steady cash flow, we are more primed to secure bookings for our photography studio and the many events both indoor and outdoor which we specialise in. By all means we are there to facilitate anyone wishing to have professional photos taken as we have a full studio on site with printing facilities for on the spot printing, we also have a selection of photo frames, canvas prints, cameras, and printers which can be purchased there directly. As we are approaching the Confirmation and Communion season we are taking individual and group bookings now, each booking must be confirmed with a deposit and an official receipt will be issued.

Finding the time to man the stall at the weekends might become a problem but I have good staff and a wonderful family who Im sure will come to the rescue when  we need them. Thanks to everyone in the market for the warm welcome and especially to Daryll who has been very helpful manning my stall when nature called on a few occasions.
